This role requires a strong understanding of software development and testing principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Log, track, and manage defects identified during testing to ensure accurate documentation and communication to development teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance required.
  • Strong knowledge of software development and testing principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to provide constructive feedback and support.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as JMeter and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of OAuth/OWASP security and how it works.
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environment.
  • Ability to write code in order to create test scripts.

Contract Information:

  • 12 months+ contract.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
  • Candidate must be a W2 employee.
