Job Summary:

As a Food Quality Assurance Manager at Epic Personnel Partners, you will oversee the daily operations in the Quality Assurance, Cheese, and Janitorial departments for all shifts. Your responsibilities will include supervising warehouse products for Quality Assurance, preparing quality documentation and reports, and corresponding with clients through emails. You will also enforce plant quality standards, manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs, and monitor and enforce the plant HACCP program. Additionally, you will ensure compliance to Federal, State, and local regulations, increase awareness and evaluation of GMP's, and follow all food Safety Requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices. You will also oversee the process of store orders to ensure the highest level of service to the customer and assist in maintaining high quality of service by enforcing company policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will assign duties to employees, schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations, and perform periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies. You will also assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties. Finally, you will follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examine discrepancy reports, and resolutions to restore and promote good public relations with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations in Quality Assurance, Cheese, and Janitorial departments
Prepare quality documentation and reports
Correspond with clients through emails
Enforce plant quality standards
Manage and maintain quality inspection and product release programs
Monitor and enforce HACCP program
Ensure compliance to Federal, State, and local regulations
Increase awareness and evaluation of GMP's
Follow food Safety Requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices
Oversee store orders to ensure high level of service to customer

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field
3+ years of experience in quality assurance or related field
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
