Ferguson is currently looking for the right individual to fill an opening for a 1st Shift DC Administrative Clerk - (Pipe Yard) at our Houston MDC (Brookshire TX) distribution center. Benefits Hourly or Incentive Bonus Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Disability and Life insurance after 30 days Wellness Incentives 401K with company match Vacation, Paid Holidays, Sick Time, and Personal Time Employee Share Purchase Program Product Discounts, and more Responsibilities Pull and prepare orders for shipment Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material Audit picked orders Data entry and inventory process experience strongly preferred Effectively communicate with associates and display collaboration in completing task assignments Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times Complete tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management Responsible for accurately and safely completing assigned tasks General computer and math skills Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization Qualifications A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required Drive to excel in fast-paced environment Ferguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families-geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
