Business Development/Sales Manager - T&D/Substation Construction

We are looking for a full time Business Development/Sales Manager to join our client's Utility Construction team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and sales, as well as experience in the utility construction industry.

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects, and to identify and close new business opportunities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the sales team and developing sales strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in the utility construction industry
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects
  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Manage the sales team and develop sales strategies
  • Prepare and present proposals
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Track and report sales results
