Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Sourcing Senior Lead Analyst, Operations, Contract Employee

OverviewThe Supply Chain Sourcing Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading procurement activities such as the negotiation of terms of price, quantity and delivery, analyzing comparable suppliers and agreeing on contracts in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.ResponsibilitiesDevelop sourcing strategies that align with business and organizational goals, execute against these strategies, develop sourcing plans with business stakeholders, and establish a reputation within the sourcing organizations and business units as expertDevelop internal business partner relationships, key/strategic supplier relationships, and key stakeholder relationships as well as negotiate market leading contract and commercial terms for new product acquisitions, develop sourcing strategies, and develop project delivery and execution for assigned categoriesManage and maintain contract and commercial terms with existing regional and global suppliers focused on reducing franchise risk and achieving market commercial terms to reduce total cost of ownership across multiple Citi Business UnitsInteract with all levels of management including senior and executive management from various internal/external businesses and suppliersServe as a sourcing and end-to-end supply chain Subject Matter Expert (SME) through bringing valuable market insight to supported business units, influencing decisions around sourcing strategy and supplier selection, and leads the negotiation and contracting process for product acquisitionWork with Regional Sourcing Leads from multiple regions to coordinate sourcing activities and support the development of regional strategies to ensure execution of global strategiesAnalyze business processes to decide on opportunities achieved through influencing supply and demand of services as well as analyze supplier proposals, structure, and negotiate supply agreements and manage supplier relations and performanceIdentify and drive cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, process efficiencies, risk mitigation, and standardization across Citigroup businessesBuild and maintain relationship with business unit stakeholders to promote and expand procurement influence within software, as well as participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of purchasing policies and proceduresContribute to all administrative requirements such as approved supplier program, supplier diversity, contract management system, procure-to-pay system, software related metrics, and reportingTrain/coach employees, monitor quality and quantity of work, and manage day to day staff issues such as resource management and allocation within team projectReport on category trends and best practices driving best-in-class purchasing practices including application category management, preferred systems, tools, and techniques in a timely manner as well as maintain up to date and accurate system recordsLead cross-functional teams comprised of country procurement managers and stakeholders from multiple business units in development and execution of software sourcing strategies, Requests for Proposal, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes, as well as lead regional and Global sourcing initiativesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications10+ years of relevant experienceCertified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferredExperience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, and ProcurementContract and Vendor Management ExperienceAdvanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office and ExcelDemonstrated success in achieving savings goals and other performance metricsDemonstrated relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducationBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferredJob Family Group: Corporate ServicesJob Family: Supply ChainTime Type: Full timeOther Relevant Skills: For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter.Citi is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity review Accessibility at Citi.
