Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending Are you ready to make an impact in commercial banking leadership? Our Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending sets the vision and strategy for Commercial Lending and Treasury Management, driving growth in loan and deposit portfolios across CoVantage markets. This role leads high‑performing teams, ensures compliance and sound lending practices, and expands treasury services to deliver exceptional value to our commercial members. Job Duties Lead commercial lending staff to achieve commercial portfolio growth, targeting one third of the credit union’s loan portfolio from commercial accounts. Lead the Treasury Management team to achieve strategic product and service goals, deepening commercial member relationships through innovative solutions and exceptional service. Make tough decisions to replace underperforming members, build a team to meet organizational needs, and establish structures to ensure functional initiatives reach the organization efficiently. Assist the Senior Vice President Chief Risk Officer in establishing and meeting commercial lending and deposit goals and objectives. Ensure the credit union succeeds in all aspects of commercial lending/deposits and Treasury Management services. Ensure commercial staff develops the entire relationship with members, providing Treasury Management services as well as personal loan and deposit services. Demonstrate strong relationship and management skills, facilitation skills, collaborative style, and the ability to interact with members, employees and leaders at all levels. Strive to improve services to members and staff in line with the credit union’s mission, strategic goals, and cost/benefit analysis. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field. In‑depth knowledge of overseeing the sales and operational aspects of a commercial loan portfolio and Treasury Management relationship. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in sales and/or business development activities related to growing commercial relationships, including Treasury Management services. Working knowledge of databases, extracting data utilizing multiple systems and generating financial reports applicable to commercial loan portfolio oversight and Treasury Management sales and services. Must be a sales‑oriented individual with the ability to represent the credit union to businesses of all sizes and across a variety of industries. Strong working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and procedures related to collecting consumer, real estate and commercial loans. Benefits CoVantage invests in our team members.
