Our long standing client is a mid-sized manufacturing organization. They have a solid team, with very little turnover, coupled with their steady business (their product is ALWAYS in demand) Culturally speaking, this team is very low-key, low-drama and down-to-Earth. They're looking for an individual who is a team-player with a good sense of humor to join their small team, which CFS has placed most of.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT:
- Responsible for obtaining the rebates backup documents from customers & calculating rebates based on their report submission.
- Responsible for checking the aging and requesting backup for any deduction pretending to rebates.
- Responsible for collecting any differences generated by the rebates.
- Responsible for the Annual and Quarterlies rebates, in addition to special programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Business, ideally in Accounting/Finance
- Solid technical proficiency
- Understanding of Accounts Receivable process
- Good sense of humor
