This global manufacturer of medical devices is hiring for a 1st and 2nd shift Mechanical Assembler, due to growth and expansion at our location in Shelton. Regular Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm

Job Description

  • Assembler experienced working with complex electro mechanical assemblies and instrumentation
  • Tests the functionality of equipment or sub-assemblies
  • Excellent manual dexterity to work on complex, intricate assemblies
  • Must follow procedures for all work orders (photodocs)
  • Work safely and maintain a safe environment
  • Produce quality work with on-time delivery expectations
  • Minimize waste and maintain inventory in the work cell
  • Lead and participate in 5s and LEAN activities
  • Work with team to drive continuous process improvements
  • Assist with new product development
  • Perform process training with employees
