Overview Your Job Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is hiring a Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping KES's growth by serving as a strategic partner to business leaders within KES, driving growth through creative identification and implementation of changes via organic growth, business transformation, and M&A. You will need to be a strong, strategic, and economic thinker, be willing to challenge the status quo, have exceptional relationship-building skills, and have the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value creation. What You Will Do Strategic Collaboration: Partner with KES business unit leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance performance and market competitiveness. Performance Optimization: Provide analytical and strategic support to identify opportunities for improvements, cost efficiencies, and revenue growth. Change Management: Support business leaders in implementing transformative initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align efforts with KES's broader vision. Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential acquisition targets aligned with KES's growth strategy. Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and cultural assessments, to ensure alignment with KES's vision and values. Investment Analysis: Develop economics to support decision-making. Who You Are Basic Qualifications Progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development roles. Deep experience in financial and economic decision-making. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution. Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment. Experience in corporate/business development, capital allocation, investments, and acquisitions. Experience partnering, leading, and influencing through change initiatives or business transformation.
