Timely and accurate completion of required patient health record documents. Maintains patient confidentiality and follows Active Life HIPAA policies. Participates in required continuing education opportunities deemed necessary by Active Life. Travel to/from Active Life and offsite locations within a reasonable distance from home office to provide patient care or visit/educate referral sources using a personal vehicle and maintaining a valid Driver’s License and Insurance. Collection and management of money associated with copayments, deductibles and other financial related items. Shipping and unpacking, order processing, and overall inventory management. Follow company pricing, coding, authorization and billing standards and ability to properly calculate and determine patient costs, including the collection of funds from patients for provision of services. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with an Orthotics/Prostheticspreferred, but not required.Training will be provided. Computer and typing proficiency of 35 wpm. Experience with electronic medical records systems. Professional verbal and written communication skills. A valid driver’s license with no limitations operating a motor vehicle; maintain auto insurance in accordance with state law, must have a reliable vehicle. Ability to successfully complete background check which may include motor vehicle record and drug screening.
