The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed cost estimates for complex steel bridge projects. You’ll work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure precise bids, effective project execution, and uphold our high standards of quality and safety.

Your Responsibilities

  • Bridge Design Analysis: Review detailed bridge design plans, engineering specifications, and blueprints to accurately assess the scope, material requirements, and labor needs for steel bridge projects.
  • Comprehensive Cost Estimation: Develop precise cost estimates for steel bridge construction, including materials, fabrication, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring all factors are considered.
  • Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate quotes from steel suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors specializing in bridge construction to secure the best pricing and ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborative Project Management: Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate bids, manage project changes, and address technical and logistical challenges.
  • Risk Assessment & Market Research: Continuously analyze project risks, stay updated on industry trends, and monitor material cost fluctuations to refine estimates and ensure competitive, realistic project bids.
