Position Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong dedication to providing outstanding customer service and will thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input diverse data into our systems, including managing credits, discounts, and updating customer schedules.
- Address customer inquiries through phone and email, resolving issues related to delivery dates, pricing, returns, and credits.
- Process customer orders, ensuring all specifications and pricing details are complete and accurate.
- Engage in basic sales activities to enhance market share and recommend products to new customers.
- Support other departments by assisting with pricing estimates and providing insights on market trends and competitive products.
- Contribute to the enhancement of ISO procedures and sales processes as required by our Quality Assurance team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required; technical education is advantageous.
- A minimum of one year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field within the metal manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, is a plus.
