Position Summary: MLee Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Sonographer to join an established medical team in Vermont. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing high-quality imaging, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure. Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies.
Operate ultrasound equipment with proficiency, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate results.
Assess and evaluate images to identify abnormalities and communicate findings to physicians and healthcare providers.
Provide patient education and support, ensuring patients understand the procedure and are comfortable throughout the process.
Prepare and maintain detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with medical and legal standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to diagnostic decisions.
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and departmental procedures.
Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

Previous hospital experience necessary
Minimum 5 years' experience in hospital setting
ARDMS certification required
Associates Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or ARDMS eligible
BLS
