Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
  • 2 years of experience working as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (preferred, not required).
  • Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
