Join our 100-year-old, family-owned company renowned for delivering exceptional customer experiences and innovative solutions. We are seeking a Service Manager to lead and manage our extensive network of external service technicians across the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service technicians, ensuring they align with our company culture and standards.
  • Efficiency and Metrics: Oversee metrics to ensure repairs are conducted efficiently and effectively, continuously improving service delivery.
  • Collaboration: Partner with an experienced call center team to provide troubleshooting assistance and support escalated issues. Facilitate collaboration with internal departments, including sales, technical service, engineering, and technical publications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, cultivate, and maintain key partnerships. Use data and analysis to drive continuous improvements in service processes and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Host training events and give presentations as needed. Assess and address field technician training requirements to maintain high-quality service.
  • Strategy and Compliance: Develop and maintain service strategies, ensure warranty and service processes align with market conditions, and support parts and service needs.
  • Customer Feedback: Use customer feedback to implement effective training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support New Initiatives: Contribute to the commercialization process for new product launches, ensuring service provider support and parts distribution are in place.

Qualifications:


  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience (combining education and experience).
  • Strong technical background with experience managing networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships.
  • Experience in sales and customer service.
  • Ability to teach and mentor others.
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to a dynamic work schedule.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
