Randstad, in partnership with our client, a leading manufacturer of audio products, is seeking someone to join their dynamic Global Trade Compliance team and work with one of the country's most recognizable and exciting brands.


Job Description:

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring our company's compliance with global customs authorities and facilitating day-to-day trade compliance activities. This includes import and export classification, sanctions screening, Partner Government Agency (PGA) research, and recordkeeping. Depending on need and experience, you may also support larger projects.

You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team based in our Framingham, MA corporate office.


Responsibilities:

  • Classify company products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Export Commodity Control Numbers, and applicable Partner Government Agencies.
  • Assist in daily trade compliance operations for US import and export transactions, ensuring timely clearance with customs brokers.
  • Manage the classification, approval, and handling of miscellaneous exports.
  • Perform daily Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screenings.
  • Maintain recordkeeping and record management procedures.
  • Conduct part and product research, collaborating with engineers, external suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to Trade Compliance.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Trade Compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with required experience in Excel.


Preferences:

  • Experience in Trade Compliance or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with SAP/GTS.
  • Licensed Customs Broker or actively working towards a Customs Broker License.
