Overview:
Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) to lead the sales initiatives for a prestigious Marriott property. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and performance standards to exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the property's market presence.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, travel partners, and corporate accounts.
- Oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within luxury hospitality.
- In-depth knowledge of Marriott brand standards and revenue management practices.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality; advanced degree is preferred.
