Now hiring a Branch Manager for a premier construction equipment company in Minot, ND

Pay: $100k+
Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F
Location: Minot, ND 58701
Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Summary: Direct all operational and transactional functions of the assigned dealership location while optimizing profitability, increasing market share, leading employees, and exceeding customer expectations. Responsible for the execution of business plans and strategies while implementing and upholding company processes, procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, manage, and oversee the day-to-day activities of the branch while maintaining a high level of employee morale and maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Manage and lead the workflow of direct reports while continuously evaluating and monitoring work progress and performance
  • Recruit, select, orient, train, and develop branch employees
  • Collaborate senior leadership to develop and execute branch-specific goals, objectives, & strategies
  • Collaborate with HR concerning staffing, training, performance reviews, promotions, career development, salary actions, and terminations
  • Identify and execute opportunities to increase dealership market share, cultivate branch growth, and sell customers on products and services
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to identify and execute marketing strategies
  • Participate in yearly budget preparation and monthly financial meetings
  • Understand, maintain, monitor, and report on overall branch metrics and budgets
  • Oversee and maintain a safe and healthy working environment by enforcing organization standards, processes, and procedures while adhering ot legal regulations
  • Act as the escalated point of contact to address customer issues promptly
  • Maintain strong communication with the corporate office and other branches
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working in equipment dealership or retail environment
  • 3-5 years of management experience with demonstrated ability to guide, coach, and mentor team members
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate others
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for identifying and executing solutions
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective time management, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • High degree of professionalism with regard for confidentiality and commitment to ethical behavior
  • Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire
