Flow Automotive Companies is seeking a Detail Shop Manager.

The Detail Manager will be responsible for directing and assisting the detail technicians in performing their duties as listed below, scheduling, ordering supplies, making sure we are in compliance with OSHA regulations among other things. The Manager must take pride in his or her work, be detail-oriented and dependable.Competitive pay and benefits are offered as well.

The hours will be 5 days/week. Some Saturdays will be involved (and a day off during the week on those weeks).

The main purpose of a Detailer is to clean and refurbish new and used automobiles, to report to work on time and to communicate openly with Service management personnel on any business related items.

Requirements:

Must have experience detailing luxury vehicles with references.
Willing to pay sign on bonus.
Must have Detail Department Manager experience with references.

Principal Responsibilities:

Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down door jambs.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface.
Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies revitalizer and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces.
Cleans engine and engine compartment.
Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.
Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
Removes all window stickers on sold vehicles.
Keeps work area neat and clean.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Other duties as assigned.
