Director / Sr. Director Product, Financial Services
We're looking for a visionary leader to spearhead our retail and commercial banking product strategy.

This role requires a deep understanding of commercial lending processes, coupled with technical product management expertise and a proven track record in the financial services industry. You'll be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our commercial lending solutions, driving product management processes, and leading go-to-market activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deep Knowledge of Commercial Lending:
    • Leverage over 5 years of experience in the financial services industry or building software solutions for financial services, with a strong focus on commercial lending processes, including loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape in commercial lending to inform product strategy and development.
  2. Technical Product Management Expertise:
    • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for commercial lending solutions.
    • Draft detailed product requirements and specifications for financial services applications.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to drive product development and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
    • Utilize data and user feedback to continuously improve product offerings and drive innovation.
  3. Product Marketing:
    • Develop and execute product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies.
    • Create compelling client-facing collateral, including presentations, brochures, and case studies, to support sales and marketing efforts.
    • Lead product launches and go-to-market (GTM) activities, ensuring successful adoption and market penetration.
  4. Incubation Experience:
    • Possess a 0 to 1 experience in developing and delivering client presentations, securing early lighthouse clients, and driving initial product adoption.
    • Work closely with early clients to gather feedback, iterate on product features, and ensure the solution meets market needs.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and drive long-term partnerships.
  5. Industry Connections:
    • Maintain a robust network of connections at the CXO and Divisional Leader levels within the financial services industry, particularly in commercial lending.
    • Leverage industry relationships to gain insights, identify opportunities, and drive business development efforts.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience with a minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry, specifically in commercial lending or related areas.
  • Proven track record in product management, with experience in drafting requirements, setting vision and strategy, and managing product development processes.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain industry connections at the executive level.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
