What’s a typical day as a General Clerk I - Support? You’ll be:
• Proofreading records for clarity and completeness in accordance with defined procedures
• Entering data from standard forms and reports into appropriate systems, spreadsheets, or databases
• Preparing a variety of documents for processing by others, including scanning, filing, collating, or indexing records
• Responding to standard inquiries from internal and external customers
• Referring complex requests to appropriate staff members

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, but a 2-year degree with 3-4 years of experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
• Possess exceptional data entry speed and accuracy, with the ability to stay focused and perform work for long periods of time
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work with varying types of personalities
• Have experience in an administrative role, preferably in a warehouse or shipping office environment
• Are familiar with shipping materials, DOT regulations, and inventory systems/tools
• Pay strong attention to detail, are timely, and have excellent attendance
• Are self-motivated and willing to help coworkers during lull times
