Kelly Services is seeking a production operator for a busy manufacturer located in Deland, FL 32724

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate to join our team. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for manufacturing, testing, and packing products based on blueprints or work instructions. Your attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and commitment to quality will be essential in ensuring the success of our production operations.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Deland, FL 32724
- Pay Rate: $16.80/hour
- Shift: Weekend A (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 7 am-7 pm
- Start date 9/16/2024 End- 12/27/2024 with opportunity for extension or conversion

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Read and follow work procedures, schematics, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Perform manufacturing, assembly, or packing operations and various tasks following procedures, work instructions, or blueprints.
- Record daily output and maintain accurate production records.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
- Comply with EHS regulations and policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Complete all necessary equipment in the related area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent OR 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic math skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, stooping, bending, walking, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling for long periods.
- Must have steady hand-eye coordination for equipment operation and manufacturing.
- Must be able to read and write simple statements.
- Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgment.
