Description:
Responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and implementation of business intelligence initiatives within the organization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data-driven insights for informed decision-making, driving business growth, and optimizing operational efficiency.
This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and a deep understanding of business processes and data systems.
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:
Develop and communicate the vision, goals, and roadmap for the business intelligence function in alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on leveraging data analytics to drive business growth, enhance operational effectiveness, and improve customer experience.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business intelligence professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
Business Intelligence Development:
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions, including data warehouses, dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the integrity, scalability, and security of data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
Data Analysis and Insights:
Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to drive revenue growth, optimize operational processes, and mitigate risks.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with business leaders and department heads to understand their information needs and priorities, and translate them into actionable analytics initiatives.
Present findings, recommendations, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Performance Monitoring and KPIs:
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of business intelligence initiatives and measure the impact on business outcomes.
Develop regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and trends to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Data Governance and Compliance:
Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of organizational data assets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data privacy, security, and reporting.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mathematics or scientific field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (8+ years) in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions and actionable insights.
Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
