You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, managing sales pipeline, customer acquisition, and development of new business ultimately driving growth within the Health Benefits Consulting Practice of BPAS-APS.In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our health benefits consulting practice by contributing to innovative business strategies, fostering impactful partnerships, representing our organization at industry events, and ensuring top‑notch customer service to new and prospective clients. Your expertise in health benefits actuarial and consulting services will be foundational in accelerating our organization’s growth and differentiating us as a leader in the market.Thoroughly understand and explain BPAS’ health benefits consulting, actuarial, and data analytics services and key benefits provided to potential customersResearch accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop relationships to stimulate opportunityStay abreast of industry news, competitor initiatives, existing industry trends, and market developments to maintain competitive advantageRepresent BPAS at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, showcasing our actuarial, data analytics, and consulting capabilitiesQualify leads generated by marketing campaigns to determine their viabilityEngage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and assess fit for our servicesMaintain accurate records of interactions with prospects to develop pipelineCollaborate across BPAS/CFSI sales and marketing teams to support cross‑enterprise opportunitiesStrive to meet or exceed quotas for qualified leads, closed business, and revenue growth targetsUnderstand business and financial levers that impact profitability of new partnershipsWork closely with subject matter experts to assemble proposals to formal Requests for Proposals (“RFPs”) and present at finalist meetingsEvaluate potential mergers and acquisition partnerships for BPASQualifications5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related fieldProven track record of achieving sales quotas and targetsEmployee and Retiree benefits insurance or industry experience with emphasis on actuarial, consulting, and data analyticsStrong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills, with a strategic mindset to drive business growth and deliver resultsStrong problem‑solving skills and ability to think creativelyLarge, complex RFP process knowledge/experienceSolid business/financial acumenConsultative and strategic selling experienceKnowledge of US health market dynamics preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyNYS Life & Health insurance license preferredActuarial or employee benefits professional designation a plus.Other Job InformationHours: 40 hours/weekCompensation: Base salary commensurate with experience plus commission based incentives.
