Slot Supervisor

Located on the Mississippi River, on the site of the former Learned’s Mill that operated from 1828 until 1962, Magnolia Bluffs Casino now calls this historic land home. We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Natchez with the best customer service and gaming experience possible Our current opening is for a Slot Supervisor. This position will report directly to the Director Gaming Operations and will be responsible for the following:

• Acts in a supervisory capacity to the Slot Floor Attendants.
• Sign various documents regarding cashier transactions
• Be active and engaged on the gaming floor to ensure all areas are properly staffed with competent personnel.
• Circulates throughout the area assigned, observing players and functioning of machines.
• Assists in minor machine repairs and reporting of machine malfunctions.
• Reports emergencies such as intoxicated, annoying or cheating guests to supervisor immediately.
• Promotes and maintains necessary communications between self, co-workers, supervisors/managers in all departments to ensure controlled operation of the gaming floor.
• Responsible to maintain change wallets.
• Make change/exchange currency at customer’s request.
• Responsible for ensuring Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
• Responsible for verifying, issuing and documenting jackpot payouts.
• Counts and verifies all exchanges with the cashier department and customers.
• Promotes positive guest relations; always displaying a courteous and helpful attitude when dealing with the public.
• Provides a clean safe environment for our guests.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior money handling experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Previous experience managing, motivated and leading teams
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Flexible schedule is required including nights/weekends/holidays
• Must be able to obtain and uphold a state gaming license(s)
• Able to lift 50lbs frequently
• Able to stand and walk for 8 - 10 hours

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License. Cost of license is covered by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. Travel to Jackson, MS will be mandatory for this licensing process.
