The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced project analyst to join the Expended Core Programs (ECP) team. ECP provides program management support for Examination Design Projects (EDP) equipment designs, execution of the examination programs at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF), as well as support of various Core Materials, Manufacturing & Irradiations (CMMI) technical programs. The Project Analyst position will support all efforts within ECP and report directly to the ECP unit manager. The Project Analyst will also support efforts within other units in the EDP subdivision located at both Bettis and Knolls. This position works directly with other ECP project managers/analysts and equipment design teams to integrate examination programs in accordance with approved priorities and resource availability, ensure equipment and documentation deliverables support schedule needs, resolve administrative issues, and support the adjustment of schedules to accommodate emergent changes. The responsibilities of this position also include the updating of integrated schedules, applying project management and project controls principles to projects, maintaining project schedules, measuring project performance to schedule, creating high-visibility project reports/metrics (monthly and quarterly) for a wide audience, and communication with project stakeholders. The Project Analyst will also develop and report metrics, support program review cycles, and manage the updating of program management toolsets. The successful candidate will be expected to drive standardization of program management practices across the EDP subdivision.

Occasional travel to Idaho (1 to 3 times per year)





Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Ability to evaluate and develop process improvement
• Effective at managing interactions at all levels of the organization
• Practical leadership skills that include team building, influencing others, and setting priority and vision
• Proactive approach to accomplishing work and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera is preferred
