Flexible Assembler II - KingsburyFull-time/Part-time EMC-R54/64-2To accurately and expediently assemble subassembly level and/or finished products according to instructions provided by the Line Leader in the form of verbal, written, and/or diagram.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receive shift assignments or regular duties via instruction from Line Leader.Accurately performs assembly of subassemblies and products in a safe and expeditious manner..Communicate production problems, within the scope of their assignments that would either affect the timely delivery or the expected quality of their work, to the Line Leader.Use a variety of power and hand tools such as screw/torque drivers, epoxy/glue dispensers, light bench-top machine operations, programming and calibration equipment to facilitate assembly/test.Demonstrate ability to correctly assemble, test and contribute in one or two product areas involving moderate operations.Maintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale.Organize work areas before, during and after assignments. Is responsible for general housekeeping and organization of workstations.Obtain solder certificationKey Performance Indicators (KPI's):Limit mistakes by reviewing quality of own work and following instructionsMeet production Takt time or expected pieces per hour per Manufacturing OrderAchieve Safety objective for the plant RequirementsRequired Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:Must be 18 years of ageMust be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the US issued by the Department of Homeland Security.Minimum of 3 months of service Physical/Mental Essential Functions:Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of timeAble to read/speak in English and follow verbal/written instructionsAble to count and sortAble to interact/communicate with respect of fellow co-workers and managementAble to push/pull and reach above shouldersAble to control operation of hand and/or footAble to turn wrist frequently in a repetitive motionAble to lift/carry up to 10 pounds
