Kelly® Professional is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative and Legal Support Specialist for a Law Firm. This position provides comprehensive administrative, executive, and legal secretarial support to multiple attorneys and paralegals. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with staff at all levels.

 
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
 
Hourly Rate:
  • $22/hr

Location: Birmingham, AL 35203
 
Administrative and Legal Support Specialist Duties: 
- Provide administrative, executive, and secretarial support for senior attorneys, attorneys, and paralegals.
- Perform complex secretarial, executive, administrative word processing, and clerical functions.
- Type correspondence, agreements, and documents from rough draft, verbal instructions, and dictation.
- Proofread and edit documents for accuracy.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Schedule meetings efficiently using Outlook and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Maintain filing systems and indexes in an organized manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via in-person, telephone, mail, or email.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.
- Network with colleagues to share best practices and develop strategies to achieve goals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and troubleshoot minor technical issues.

 
 
Administrative and Legal Support Specialist Qualifications:
 - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or legal studies is a plus.
- Proven experience providing administrative support in a legal or corporate environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
