Nebraska Methodist College is hiring a CRNA Program Director. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and efficiently achieve program goals.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with college leadership on doctoral student issues, policies, and accreditation requirements.
- Manages the program's budget in partnership with college leadership and financial staff.
- Works with the assistant director and faculty to ensure quality curriculum, instruction, and program evaluation in the didactic phase.
- Leads the accreditation process with COA and CCNE, including initial and continued accreditation.
- Supervises faculty hiring, evaluation, mentorship, course management, student advisement, and engages with internal and external stakeholders on program progress.
Location:
- Methodist College - 720 N. 87th Street, Omaha, NE.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, full-time.
Job Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNAP, or EdD) from an accredited institution of higher education required.
- A minimum of 3 years of practice as a CRNA required.
- Experience in classroom instruction or nursing program leadership required.
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of curricular design to include experience in distance education and development of quality online programs preferred.
- Prior experience with program accreditation processes preferred.
- Prior experience with evaluation and outcomes assessment preferred.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) though the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required.
- Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid compact multistate license, or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required.
- APRN-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (APRN-CRNA) license in Nebraska required upon hire.
- Eligible for the Controlled Substance Registration Certification (CSRC) through the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology required.
