We are seeking an experienced CRNA Program Director to lead our Nurse Anesthesia Program, shaping the next generation of anesthesia professionals and advancing the field through innovative education and research. The successful candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia practice, education, and leadership, with a proven track record of program development and accreditation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Program Leadership: Collaborate with college leadership to develop and implement program strategies, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
  2. Curriculum Development: Design and deliver high-quality didactic and clinical instruction, incorporating best practices in anesthesia education and emerging trends in the field.
  3. Accreditation and Compliance: Ensure program meets or exceeds accreditation standards, maintaining continuous quality improvement and assessment.
  4. Faculty Support: Supervise and mentor faculty members, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  5. Student Success: Promote student growth and achievement, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
  6. Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with healthcare organizations and community stakeholders, enhancing program relevance and impact.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral Degree: Earned doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNAP, or EdD) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a CRNA, with a strong background in classroom instruction or nursing program leadership.
  • Certifications: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required, along with current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and APRN-CRNA license in Nebraska.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of curricular design, and experience with program accreditation processes.
