AR Collections Analyst- Temporary

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collections Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting payments for open and past-due invoices, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow while maintaining strong relationships with clients. Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 3 months with the possibility of extension. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Monitor and manage open accounts receivable, identifying and prioritizing overdue invoices for collection. Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on outstanding payments. Resolve any discrepancies or disputes regarding invoices. Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records of client communications in the system. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to address client issues and facilitate timely payment. Analyze aging reports and provide insights on collection trends and potential risks to management. Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt. Prepare regular reports on collections performance and status of outstanding invoices. Not a comprehensive list of duties. Duties may change without notice at management’s sole discretion WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or finance-related roles. Strong customer service, communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting software. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset. Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 2-4 years experiences of collections experience.
