Let’s build healthier communities together, join now ABOUT THE ROLE Responsible for leading complex projects that span across multiple technology and business units from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive project plans, leading cross‑functional teams, and implementing optimal project management methodologies to drive exceptional delivery quality and business outcomes. Must also foster collaboration and communication across all organizational levels, monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and analyze outcomes to recommend process improvements. By leveraging technical expertise and business acumen, successful project delivery enhances organizational efficiency, and drives business growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage several technology projects with an emphasis on efficiency, quality outcomes and performance in compliance with schedule, cost, scope, etc. Facilitates the definition of project scope, objectives involving all relevant stakeholders, guiding, and leading the project (end-to-end) through all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure successful execution and completion while ensuring technical feasibility by working with project technical leads and resources. Secures the resources needed to reach objectives, manages resources in an effective and efficient manner to achieve all scorecard target metrics. Prepares and manages budget based on scope of work, resource requirements, and tracks project costs to meet budget. Creates and oversees a comprehensive project schedule and work plan to direct the project team in meeting deliverable commitments. Provides effective functional and technical team leadership. Conducts project status meetings and develops plans for communicating project information to all stakeholders. Provides project status updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders (from project-level to executive) about progress, adjustments, challenges, risks, and issues. Partner with relevant cross-functional teams (Legal, Senior Leadership, Compliance, IT, etc.) to set up projects and programs for success by ensuring completion of detailed business and technical requirements to inform delivery. Manage vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating the expected deliverables. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project planning and execution. Collaborate and lead project teams to proactively identify risks and create mitigations plans (risk management), address issues through discussions and working sessions on possible solutions, considering all alternatives. Evaluates project objectives within the parameters of quality, budget, time and scope; evaluates the work performance of employees and contractors and adjusts as needed. Manages the integration of project processes including impact analysis resulting from changes in project scope, budget or schedule and submits a change request in accordance with PMO procedures. Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders through frequent, effective communication; resolves conflicts and negotiates consensus among stakeholders. Understands the need for the Business Case/ROI and ensures its completion. Ability to read and understand technical specifications and determine feasibility in solution design, in collaboration with other technical experts. Develops, monitors, and analyzes initiative success metrics with dashboards/scorecards. Identifies positive and negative performance aspects and uses such to assist in the development and incorporation of best practices and improvement initiatives into Project Management Office (PMO) methodology. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years of technical project management and related experience including software development and web technologies. Knowledge of insurance and healthcare industry highly desired. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Agile or Lean certification, ITIL or other technology certification a plus, OpEx Green Belt a plus.
