We are seeking a Field Service Technician for a contract to hire opportunity in the Richmond, VA area.

Requirements:

Active driver's license
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Reliable transportation
Mechanical abilities and printer skills are essential; PC skills are also required
Experience with Wide Format printers is a plus

Responsibilities:

Provide break-fix troubleshooting and repair services
Work 40 hours per week with on-call nights and weekends required
Ability to work overtime with manager approval
Provide quality customer support and manage customer relationships
Diagnose machine performance issues
Install, repair, and troubleshoot workstations, printers, scanners, routers, and switches
Install and repair servers
Troubleshoot and install LAN/WAN environments
Provide desk-side technical support for hardware and software
Perform analysis to identify and eliminate potential problems
Maintain technical competence to support hardware and software
Follow the Change Management Process for hardware and peripheral installations, moves, additions, and changes
Perform applicable preventative maintenance per OEM specifications

Skills/Experience:

Required: A+ certification, ability to travel overnight, and availability for after-hours on-call standby
Required: Mechanical abilities and printer skills, PC repair, and software skills
Required Education: High school diploma, college, military, tech school, or IT course
Required Experience: 2+ years in a relevant field
