Core Responsibilities:

  • Fire suppression and extinguishing system maintenance and inspection.
  • Assist with grease and oil in machinery.
  • Minor facility maintenance, painting and repairs including roof inspections, plumbing, minor electrical.
  • Supports workplace organization programs (i.e., 6S).
  • Supports production efficiency programs (i.e., TPM).
  • Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.
Qualifications:
  • Must have good assembly skills.
  • Background in manufacturing systems in dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read tape measure, multi meter, power tools, paint equipment.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly and downward to a wide range of audiences.
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education and/or related certification(s), a plus.
  • One to three years' experience in similar position
  • Forklift, Scissor and Boom lift experience.
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
