What’s a typical day as a Packaging Group Leader? You’ll be:
• Leading a team to operate, troubleshoot, and assist with packaging equipment setup and startup activities.
• Ensuring that the safety, quality, and productivity of the packaging line meet company standards.
• Leading the team to maintain an acceptable production rate, complete GMP documentation, perform in-process testing, and investigate breakdowns and repairs related to packaging production.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have previous experience as a group leader or lead operator in packaging or manufacturing.
• Have proven leadership experience or training.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Have troubleshooting, assembly, and testing skills.
• Have experience working in a related manufacturing line.
• Have knowledge of packaging equipment setup and adjustments, packaging formats, and packaging documentation.
• Have working knowledge of applicable SOPs, GMPs, LPRs, and quality test methods.
• Have the ability to complete GMP documentation neatly, correctly, and legibly.
• Have basic math skills.
• Have the ability to lift 35 lbs. for short periods.
• Have social skills and the ability to work with and empower a diverse group of associates.
