Kitchen Staff Associate Job Description
  • Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
  • Prepare ingredients for various culinary departments, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Follow all food health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain highest level of sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Read food orders from Prepares all food items according to standard computer printouts, and prepare food items, according to established menu plans.
  • Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage.
  • Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors.
  • Interact with customers as needed.
  • Must be comfortable with managing competing priorities in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency of products to the guests
  • Maintain appropriate inventory food and supplies
Qualifications
  • Requires one year restaurant cooking experience or combination of one year of restaurant cooking and culinary school
  • Must possess basic knife skills
  • Must have a valid food handler's certification
  • Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while provide high customer service levels,
