Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare food items according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards

- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and accurately record inventory levels

- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

- Monitor food quality and report any deviations or issues to the Chef or Manager

- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and ovens

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food prep stations, storage areas, and equipment

- Assist in the development and production of new menu items

- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a food preparation or kitchen setting preferred but not required

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and ingredients

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions

- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

- High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
