Job Summary:
Are you a safety-conscious professional with a passion for training and compliance? CT Mechanical is seeking a dedicated Training and Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the trades both in residential and commercial environments, extensive experience with safety management, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Comfort Academy training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Track and manage certifications for all employees, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Register employees for training sessions, complete education agreements, and coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
Conduct safety prequalification's for new projects and ensure all safety requirements are met.
Organize and lead weekly safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and address any safety concerns.
Manage workers' compensation claims and conduct thorough investigations of workplace incidents.
Update and maintain the company’s safety manual annually to reflect current policies and regulations.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, such as the Experience Modification Rate (ERM) and the number of incidents.
Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.


Role Requirements:
Previous experience in a safety management or training role, preferably in the construction or mechanical contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey safety information to all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 30) is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
