Assistant Sales Manager

We are growing again and looking for a results-oriented Assistant Sales Manager.
The Assistant Sales Manager will identify training opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the sales team and support the Sales Manager to increase sales volume, close rate, revenue per appointment while ensuring an outstanding homeowner experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Train new classes of Design Consultants in a 4-week training program.
- Provide field training support for new class of Design Consultants by doing ride alongs and tracking their progress.
- Follow up and coach new sales reps after DNS (demo no sales).
- Train under performing Design Consultants on a weekly basis.
- Attend minimum of 5 ride alongs per week (unless training new class). Use a process of both observation and demonstration in the home to coach and train. Debrief the appointment, provide one-to-one coaching and document results.
- Determine focus area for weekly training.
- Support Sales manager to develop and implement training at weekly sales meetings.
- Provide training and support to ensure reps build an error free contract, reduce mistakes and reduce holds.
- Maintain Design Consultant kit inventory and advise Sales Manager with inventory needs.
- Maintain equipment list for each rep and make sure they have proper equipment.
- After initial training, attend minimum of 1 tech measure per quarter.
- After initial training, attend tech measure meeting once per week.
- After initial training, attend minimum of 4 installs per year.
- During initial training, run enough leads to generate 10 sales.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of in-home sales sales experience
- Two or more years of training and coaching experience
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to train and coach sales reps to achieve results
- Provide performance feedback
- Experience with iPhone, iPad, apps and computer
