*What you’ll be doing*

* Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Safe Quality (SQF) program
* Guide the facility through the SQF certification process
* Develop, implement and manage comprehensive food safety plans and HACCP systems
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local food safety regulations
* Conduct food safety training for all employees, ensuring understanding and compliance with SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA and other regulatory requirements
* Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes and advancements in food safety to implement updates as necessary
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

*Skills you’ll bring along*

* SQF, HACCP, PCQI and FSMA certifications preferred
* In-depth knowledge of SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA and other food safety standards
* Strong organization, communication and leadership skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field OR a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in food safety and quality management

* Full time salaried position, exempt from overtime pay
* M-F work week
* 8:00 am to 4:30 pm core hours
