Job Description: Manufacturing Test Technician II

Location: Kent WA

Contract/CTH

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm.

Rate: $43/HR

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with a small team operating and maintaining environmental, hydraulic, and high-pressure test equipment used for acceptance testing of flight hardware.
  • Integrate, test, functionally verify, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatically actuated cryogenic valves, systems, and components.
  • Conduct hands-on acceptance testing (thermal, vibration, cryogenic, hydraulic, and pneumatic) on flight hardware by company-outlined procedures.
  • Assist with the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vibration tables, thermal chambers, proof pressure systems, and other test equipment.
  • Assist with process documentation and controls.
  • Perform testing and certification of the test equipment.
  • Coordinate with test engineers and engage with management on daily test activities.
  • Clean machines, equipment, and work areas by 5S standards and management guidance.
  • Set up and safely operate high-energy systems (e.g., high-pressure gas).
  • Conduct and/or oversee several test projects simultaneously while supporting operations schedules.
  • Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation per test plans and standards.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in related tasks.
  • 2 years of environmental test experience or exposure to the following: Inspection, Specification Performance, Leakage, Shock, Vibe, Static Load, Thermal Cycle, Thermal Vacuum, Environments other than Air, Pressure, and Proof.
  • Knowledge/experience in manufacturing and test processes and procedures.
  • Proven familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis, and data processing.
  • Experience with drawings, shop orders, and detailed work instructions.
  • Experience with test electronic, hydrostatic, and pneumatic test equipment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Test experience working with pressurized systems - hydraulics, pneumatics.
  • Background in pressure systems, including valve assembly, reading leak checks, and reading P&IDs.
