Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Technician to join our team in Kent, WA. This is a fully onsite position where you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of various equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with a broad range of machinery and systems, including CNC Mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, precision grinding equipment, hydraulic testing equipment, pumps, HVAC systems, air systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC Mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, and other precision machinery.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate precision grinding equipment and hydraulic testing systems.
  • Maintain and repair pumps, HVAC systems, air systems, and associated plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues to ensure optimal performance and safety of equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to assist in repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify equipment issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role, with hands-on experience in CNC Mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, precision grinding, hydraulic systems, pumps, HVAC, air systems, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Additional Information:

  • This position is fully onsite in Kent, WA.
  • Candidate must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime.
