Long Home Products is hiring a Regional Home Show Events Manager to oversee our Marketing team in the Massachusetts and Connecticut region. Home improvement and/or field experience is strongly desired

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and management skills to make an immediate impact on growing our team. Must have experience attending shows, managing booths and events, taking foot traffic at events and enticing interest around Long's product line.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the events team across the state of MA and CT. This includes identifying weekly shows, coordinating with events managers, and building a team to attend each event with your presence. This is a management-level role that will report directly to the Corporate Shows and Events Manager.

Responsibilities:

•Hire 4-6 direct reports that can attend multiple home shows regionally.

•Coordinate daily logistics, including permitting and field locations

•Support in locating events

•Manage events budget

•Track the team's key performance indicators

•Some administrative duties (experience with Salesforce or other CRMs highly preferred)

Requirements:

•Driver's license required

•Bachelor's degree preferred

•1-2 years of canvassing, events and/or other cold-calling experience strongly preferred

•3-5 years of management or other team leadership experience strongly preferred

•Must be comfortable with travel to other offices (up to 25% travel)

•Strong interpersonal skills

•Strong training skills

•Strong management skills

•An ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

•Exceptional time management skills
