Overview: We are seeking a skilled Adabas/SQL replication expert to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing data replication processes between Adabas and SQL databases, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and performance across our enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain data replication solutions between Adabas and SQL Server databases.
Monitor replication processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to replication failures, latency, or data discrepancies.
Collaborate with database administrators and developers to optimize database performance and efficiency.
Develop scripts and automation tools for managing and monitoring replication tasks.
Perform regular backups, updates, and upgrades of replication configurations and software.
Document replication processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff or other teams as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Adabas/SQL replication expert or similar role in enterprise-level environments.
In-depth knowledge of Adabas database systems and SQL Server databases.
Proficiency in setting up and configuring replication technologies such as Adabas CDC (Change Data Capture) and SQL Server Replication.
Strong SQL scripting skills for data manipulation and troubleshooting.
Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for database replication.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications related to Adabas and SQL Server administration or replication technologies.
