We are seeking a Director of Go-to-Market Strategy to play a key role in the development and execution of sub-segment strategy, operations, execution and growth within our Global Large Law Firm segment. The Director will identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities and will work globally to build consensus, coordinate stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to execute global GTM strategies. Additionally, you will lead organic and inorganic growth initiatives, as well as leading internal communications efforts to report to C-Level stakeholders.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Director of GTM Strategy & Planning, you will:

Support Subsegment Leadership & Operations

  1. With GM, create and deliver annual plan, quarterly business reviews and other key presentations.
  2. Drive the creation and measurement of sub-segment OKRs.
  3. Facilitate sub-segment monthly & quarterly leadership meetings.
  4. Manage channel communications & strategic initiatives including: manager summit; leadership meetings; social responsibility; digitization of sales forecasting, pipeline mgmt and analytics.
  5. Provide Annual Sales Meeting planning and execution, quarterly updates.
  6. Liaise with commercial, product and other key partners to assess, implement and track key initiatives.
  7. Liaise with segment / subsegments to drive consistency and best practices across.
  8. Lead enterprise new GTM initiatives including NGCS (Next Generation Customer Success).

Customer Focus

  1. Understand NPS and eNPS and drive improvement, collaborating across the TR enterprise.
  2. Support customer advisory boards.
  3. Collaborate with Thomson Reuters Institute (LEI) on subsegment-specific thought leadership, events.

Strategy Development

  1. Micro-segmentation, market sizing, pricing and other commercials strategy and resource allocation.
  2. Sub-segment growth plan, including roadmap prioritization (product, digital).
  3. Business Development pipeline development, acquisition analysis, fit with sub-segment strategy, due diligence, post acquisition integration.
  4. Sub-segment business case development, including sign-ups and prioritization.

Go-to-Market Optimization

  1. Ensure continuous optimization of pre and post-sale process to grow revenue efficiently.
  2. Subsegment performance measurement and operational effectiveness.
  3. GTM tools adoption and optimization (I.e. SFDC and Gainsights).

About You:

You may be a fit for the Director, GTM Strategy & Planning role if your background includes:

  1. Bachelor's - or minimum of 8 years of professional experience required.
  2. 3+ years in a role requiring an analytical skillset and experience deriving insights from data.
  3. 2+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience.
  4. Experience presenting to executive audiences.
  5. Experience working in a cross-functional team with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at an appropriate level (incl. senior-level relationships).
  6. Adept in working with large and complex data sets and combining data from disparate sources.
  7. Ability to lead, coordinate, and engage peers and advance both strategic and operational progress.
  8. Action-oriented and self-motivated, able to prioritize and meet time-sensitive commitments.
  9. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong EQ.
  10. Highly organized and detail oriented.
  11. GTM experience and customer centric.
  12. Talent magnet, development, planning, and mentoring/coaching.
