SNI Companies is looking for a Billing Administrator to support our client in the general contractor / construction industry. The ideal candidate will have prior billing experience within the construction industry.
90-day contract-to-hire position
Pay Rate: $24.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday , 8am to 5pm (in-office)
The Billing Administrator performs executive level administrative tasks of a confidential nature including, but not limited to, processing invoices and billings, producing letters, reports, memorandums, etc. via the computer; makes photocopies, files, distributes mail, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility.
- Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.
- Issue and post bills, receipts and invoices.
- Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments.
- Check the validity of debit accounts.
- Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.
- Communicates in a positive and effective manner with co-workers and visitors.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in relevant field preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- 2+ years of related experience required
