Under the direction of the Applications Manager, the Senior SCCM & Intune Engineer will be primary responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the SCCM and Intune environment. In addition, provide escalation support and training to the Help Desk and Desktop team.
Looking for: MS Intune expert with strong M365 and SCCM experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary subject matter expert in SCCM and Microsoft Intune, delivering guidance to the internal team.
- Maintain and support the SCCM and Intune platform, including changes to core components and settings, software delivery, endpoint health management, imaging, Windows autopilot, reporting and administrations.
- Collaborate with Systems team to work on existing Intune design and fully migrate endpoint management from SCCM to Intune
- Collaborate with other team members, including vendors & contractors (when appropriate), to determine optimal solution for security, compliance and patch management strategies using Intune.
- Develop system test plans, ensure software quality assurance standards are achieved and validate that business goals are accomplished.
- Work closely with Security department to identify and remediate Windows vulnerabilities
- Identify areas where process and automation would enhance the delivery of Enterprise applications and day to day workflow.
- Respond to and resolve escalated system incidents and outages.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members on SCCM & Intune best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SCCM and Intune configurations.
- Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to co-workers and management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of SCCM administration and engineering: App packaging, collections creations, software deployment, software updates, client health, reporting, Cloud Management Gateways, Administration
- 5+ years Microsoft Intune Experience: Windows Autopilot, Autopatch, Compliance and Conditional Access, Configuration profiles, Co-Management
- Expertise in designing, deploying and managing large-scale SCCM and Intune environments for enterprise clients
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Desktop: Installing, Configuring and Maintaining
- Exceptional knowledge and experience with Windows Servers, Windows Operating Systems and Azure Active Directory.
- Extensive expertise in scripting language for automation
- Citrix and Azure VDI knowledge is a plus
- Microsoft Windows certifications are ideal and highly desired
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of leading successful SCCM and Intune Projects
- Leadership and Mentoring Experience
Education and/ Experience:
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT related experience background
