The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and testing Sensor Kits and cabled sensors, per provided work instructions Bill of Process documents. This position is a 3 to 6 month contract position. If chosen, you will be paid through an employment agency. + Position Responsibilities Assembling mechanical components with hand and power tools Wire preparation and labeling per instructions Wire assembly in the Sensor Kit Preparation of sub-assemblies per instructions Ability to follow basic programming instructions Ability to do basic functional testing Fabricate cabled sensors + Position Requirements High school diploma or GED Six months experience in a manufacturing environment; experience installing or maintaining PLCs preferred Ability to work from designs, work instructions, and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity Experience soldering preferred Strong interpersonal skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent communication skills Ability to work on-site Ability to stand for 8 hours a day Ability to lift 50 lbs How to Apply Apply online at mxdusa.org/careers by clicking on the link to the position posting and submitting your resume with a cover letter explaining why you would be a great fit for this role and MxD.
