Position Overview:
The Mechanical Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the assembly of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to meet production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble machinery, fabricated metal components, electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies, and more in accordance with provided instructions.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to construct products to specified standards.
- Utilize various machinery and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports related to production, equipment maintenance, and product discrepancies.
- Conduct inventory checks of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate with materials handlers for replenishment as necessary.
- Regularly inspect products in line with company policies to ensure quality and consistency; address any issues and notify supervisors.
- Uphold a safe and organized work environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Work Environment:
This is a Permanent Full-Time position.
Work Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Pay Rate of $26.33 per hour
- Quarterly Productivity Bonus; average payout based on company performance and attendance
- $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment

Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with a consistent work ethic.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of performing basic maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Basic proficiency in mathematics, reading, and writing.
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times.
