This role involves leading a team of four Engagement Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and serving as an escalation point for Healthcare Professional (HCP) concerns. The responsibilities include optimizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing SMART goals, and directing HCP risk assessments. Collaboration with the Director of HCP Engagement is essential to develop standard operating procedures, enhance processes, and foster clear communication within the team.


Additionally, the role requires cross-functional collaboration with other departments to address complex challenges and support the professional development of the EM team. The individual will also oversee breach escalation processes, manage worker’s compensation reporting, and develop essential team resources, including handbooks and training programs.


Deliverables


EM Team Leadership:

  • Leading and managing a team of 4 Engagement Managers.
  • Providing comprehensive support, guidance, and mentorship to ensure both individual and team success.
  • Acting as an escalation point for Ems with Healthcare Professional (HCP) concerns.


Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Optimization:

  • Enhancing the measurement and analysis of EM Team KPIs.
  • Crafting innovative strategies to elevate KPI performance and align with organizational objectives.


SMART Goals Management:

  • Developing and managing SMART goals for the EM Team to align with organizational objectives.
  • Clear Review documentation of EM Objectives, Deliverables, and Action Items.
  • Providing constructive feedback and conducting regular check-ins to uphold goal attainment.


HCP Risk Assessment

  • Directing the HCP Risk call with the Client Experience Team.
  • Ensuring meticulous reporting practices.


Process Enhancement:

  • Collaborating with the Director of HCP Engagement and EM Team to establish SOPs for streamlined processes.
  • Continuously monitoring processes to pinpoint areas for refinement and implementing enhancements accordingly.


Communication Development:

  • Crafting and disseminating transparent team communications to foster alignment and cohesion.


Resource Development:

  • Collaborating with Director of HCP Engagement and EM Team to outline the Engagement Manager role and develop a comprehensive handbook.
  • Partnering with SMEs to maintain accurate and essential team resources.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Engaging with other teams to devise strategies and solutions for complex challenges.
  • Acting as a liaison with other Conexus departments to promote collaboration and optimize processes.


Professional Development:

  • Managing EM Team professional development to ensure continuous growth and skill enhancement.
  • Implementing training programs and mentorship initiatives to cultivate a high-performance team.


Additional Responsibilities:


Breach Escalation Oversight:

  • Oversight of the breach escalation process, including coordination with Finance for damages requests.
  • Drafting breach contracts and letters as needed.
  • Serving as a liaison between HCP and Conexus teams during breach incidents.


Worker’s Compensation FROI:

  • Managing and overseeing the worker’s compensation First Report of Injury (FROI) process.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely submission of required documentation.



Experience needed


  • Team Leadership and Management: Experience in leading and managing a team, providing mentorship, and handling escalations.
  • KPI Analysis and Optimization: Strong background in measuring, analysing, and improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with organizational goals.
  • SMART Goals Development: Proficiency in setting, managing, and tracking SMART goals, ensuring alignment with broader objectives.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Experience in conducting risk assessments, particularly in healthcare settings, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Expertise in developing and refining processes, including creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments to solve complex problems and improve overall efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively craft and disseminate team communications and reports.
  • Professional Development and Training: Experience in managing professional development programs, including training and mentorship initiatives, to foster team growth and performance.


Technical Knowledge

  • A Background in Healthcare, Medical or Hospitals is highly desirable. This could be as a RN or Medical Professional, or in an operations role within the industry.


People Management


  • A strong people leader who has proven experience in building, managing, developing and coaching teams.
  • Experience managing performance, employee relations and other HR related topics.
